Here comes the sun....

We have had lovely sunny weather lately so have been enjoying bbqs, beach trips and relaxing outside. I have always wanted one of those huge 1970s type crochet blankets so have been making crochet squares in the sun..they are addictive!. I have also been sewing a little bit of a Klimt inspired tapestry kit to which I am going to add gold thread and then frame it on the wall.

We visited New Brighton beach over in the Wirral on Saturday

and last night we visited nearby Oglet beach ..the sunset colours were spectacular.

Well off to set up the BBQ for tonight's tea..making the most before the rain comes round again!! Hope your having lovely weather too :)

Beautiful sunset. Yes, we are having lovely weathe, like spring and summer in one week. AND even some rain thrown in now and then. So things have greened up a bit and flowers are blooming.

Oh yes....we're definitely making the most of it (we have to in this country, after all this may be our summer ;-) )
Wish we lived near the coast like you though!
Loving the tapestry....gorgeous.
