The creators of the French web site "Dans ma maison" set an extremely high standard with their work so it is a bit daunting but I thought I would have a go at their sun challenge. The challenge is to have a house shaped piece with the sun as the theme. I wanted to create a really different bright piece rather than go vintage..so I used various painted backgrounds, melted painted tyvek, threads and dribbled a load of yellow wax over it. I love buddhist art hence the central image and I have added the words "here comes the sun" at the top.
