For Christmas I treated myself to some collage sheets and packs from Traci Bautista, collage visions and Lisas altered art (all can be found on Etsy). I have printed some of these sheets off onto canvas sheets added some buttons and threads and made some book covers out of hessian. The smaller of the books also features some scrunched up magazine pages that when scrunched takes on fabric qualities and can be sewn through.

love these!!
How absolutely beautiful these are!
I hope you had a lovely Christmas and I wish you all the best for the coming new year!
Oh wow these are stunning.
Unbelievable creations. Love them.
These are A+mazing!!!
You can also put a thin coat of mod podge onto almost any paper and adhere it to fabric such as cheap muslin, allow it to dry and then sew on it like fabric. I tried this out as an experiment, and it hasn't failed me yet. It softens the paper and you don't have to worry about it falling apart when you stitch it.
What great collage work! thanks for stopping by my art blog, it is nice to meet someone new who is also an artsy momma. I am starting a collage directory, will you check it out and consider being listed on it? http://collage-making.blogspot.com/
thanks
