cheshire crows at daybreak (three muses blackbirds challenge)

This little wall hanging features painted and burnt ultra sheer lutradur layered over fabric. I have used transfer paper to add image to the lutradur then added the stamped birds and the words .."the voyage of discovery is not in seeking new landscapes but in having new eyes" by Proust. I have attached some wire to the top to hang it on the wall. I took this photo of cheshire last week which was right by the candle making workshops so its a nice way to remember a lovely day. The challenge over at 3 muses is blackbirds so crows are black!
If you click on the photo then you can see all the layers and texture a bit better

Your little hanging should be enlarged to be appreciated at it's very best. It's beautiful and the texturing is superb AND I love the quote. Bravo.

love this, very cool! but your tinkling bell FREAKED me out, it sounded like it was coming from behind me, thought a strange cat was in the house or something! LOL, took me a while to figure out it was your site.

the different techniques all sound so interesting. maybe some time you could do a video of doing the lutradur and the transferring of images - i would love that!
