Easter Blessings (mixed media monday eggs)

Happy Easter everyone hope you are enjoying all the chocolate! Had a bit of time this morning after being the mad easter bunny/mum hiding all the easter eggs in the garden for my sons to find!!
For this card I have used an ornate Madonna and Child stamp from Scrollswork to stamp on acetate to mimic a stained glass window (this is hard to photograph hence the angle of the card). I have then surrounded this with a distressed foil frame which I have coloured with alcohol inks and paint. The blessings quote and little eggs are also from scrollswork.

The stamp on acetate does look like stained glass. It's a lovely card.

That is so so pretty! And how I envy you that your children still want to hunt Easter Eggs...sigh.. mine have grown out of it. No one warns you when the last one will be...

Enjoy it while you can..they grow up so fast!

I posted an Easter poem today and wildflower pictures that I've taken the last couple of days. Thanks to Shona and Shannon..I think I'm getting better.

By the way, your slideshow is so beautiful! I love to see your work.
