Embrace the day and paint..

Decided to have a go at painting large for a change on my A3 canvas pad.  I quite like painting at my easel as I can leave it out and add touches now and again and look at it from a distance in my kitchen while I am cooking and washing up etc etc 

Over at the Milliande site there is a "self portrait" 4x4 swap which gladly doesnt have to be realistic! so I thought I would have a go by printing the painting onto fabric and then embellishing it.  The face has my eyes I suppose but I tend to wear glasses a lot of the time now due to old age!!!!! so I am embracing artistic licence and using the term "self portrait" very loosely!!!  Very pleased as my youngest has just come in showing me £1 coin which he got for being "man of the match" after only his second time at his new football club!
