Decided to treat myself to one of Jude Hill's Spirit Cloth online courses..have decided to take the moon and stars one but wanted to do heart motifs today. Great way of using up odds and ends of material with threads, buttons etc. Its nice to do hand sewing as you feel more affinity with the cloth..which I think this course is all about.
the heart motif on this one is from some rusty golf umbrella material I found on one of my bike rides last year..just love the textures of the back of my garden too

Absolutely beautiful fabric ATCS arrived this morning to cheer me up from the VPI group (Lynn, Sandy and Martinas gorgeous creations..just love them)
Having lunch at the farm last week and the owl landed on my table whilst doing the display for the kids..such a lovely moment..have been trying to get my kids away from the computer this week but to no avail as the weather has been really bad with hailstones this week..aghhhh!
