I came across this picture of the sphinx and luckily had an eygptian hieroglyphic stamp so used that as a background. I ripped some stamped painted papers in pyramid shapes, added the sphinx picture and the words "eternal beauty never fades"..I would love to go to Egypt one day and see the beauty of the sphinx for real..hopefully by the time I go there will be peace in this troubled part of the world!

I love the amount of interesting detail in this piece. I'm with you on wanting to visit someday. I find the time period absolutely fascinating....as is this piece!
