Liverpool is the capital of culture for 2008 and although I dont agree with all the shops they have built in the city centre..these super lamb bananas sculptures are all over Liverpool adding a bit of colour and fun. There are over a 100 of them and they are a symbol against genetic engineering and the fact that Liverpool was once a great trading port. I thought I would post a pic of the Beatles super lamb banana which was taken by one of my friends.

The lamb bananas are wonderful!! Wish I could see them up close and in person, but alas, no trip to the UK in the plans for this year *tears and sniffles*. Fabulous little (or maybe big) works of art, and love the statement they make against genetic engineering, also!
