I bought a new yoga mat today and decided to make a bag for it. I had some great hippie fabric and decided to make a yin and yang symbol on the front. Ying and Yang means light and dark, sun and moon, hot and cold, negativity and positivity etc but the two merge into one another meaning opposites attract - one cant live without the other. The yin and yang piece is made from various bits of felt, stamped image (beach bum stamps), embroidery and beads..I wanted it to be very bright and colourful!! A practical piece of art for a change!!
