This 4x4 started off as a grungy flower but then the flower seemed to disappear into the background so lifted it a bit with some sewing, rusty rivets and artgirlz image all stained with teabags and rust. Added some fav raggedy wool around the edges..I am sort of counting this one as an experiment as it didnt really turn out the way I wanted it to!! I still think it looks too flat so any ideas of how I can improve it??

I don't know that it looks flat. Maybe in real life, it does. The picture looks fine. I think it's pretty.
Grungy is as grungy does. Isn't that how the old saying goes? I think it's too pretty to be grunge, but I've just completed my first attempt and haven't a clue!
