mixed media monday "things that go bump in the night"

I wanted to do a completely different interpretation of this. It was a good excuse to use my new Rudolph Valentino stamp (beach bum stamps)!! Usual painted background with ripped papers, stamped image and some flowers. The words read "fancy bumping into you" "she thought". I have been taking photos of my recent challenges on my tree in the back garden as I love the light especially the autumn light at around six pm as that is when I do most of my creations whilst cooking the tea. We are having a lovely moussaka for tea tonight. I love making comfort food in this cold weather. What is your fav comfort food? I would love to hear what you fav food is to eat in different countries that visit this site?

I LOVE your take on the theme! What fun new stamps! Your piece is beautiful! Comfort food this time of year for me is coffee and pumpkin pie (pumpkin anything really)!

Great iterpretation. Fab colors. My hubby says pie with ice cream. It never gets too cold where we live.

Lorraine what a fantastic interpretation, I assume it was midnight at the Oasis and they had sent the Camel to bed!. As for favourites well I am in chilly Sheffield in South Yorkshire and one of my winter faves is my mothers Irish stew (she was Irish and it is great stew)

hi again! thanks for the comment on my blog. to answer your question. I always stamp on fabric with versacraft (previously known as fabrico) it is specifically designed for fabric. works really well, and is apparently permanent when heat set, although I haven't thoroughly tested this.
