I decided to combine 2 challenges on this piece. The Art Creations Friday is a new challenge blog and this week you had to use a gessoed background which you print off the site. The Sunday Postcard challenge was "winter Wonderland". It has been very frosty and foggy in Liverpool lately so I just had to capture this on something. The gessoed background fitted perfectly as it looked very foggy looking..I added some touches of blue and pink with watercolours to convey a wintery sky. I used my new crafty individuals stamp of a tree which I won recently! and added the words "whispers in the wind" stamped on vellum with some glittery paper behind. Finished it off with some eyelets and ribbon.
