First fabric bowl

I made a fabric bowl tonight and am very pleased with it. I love the simple Kabuki type of style. I have had this material for quite awhile and was wondering what to do with it. I can see myself making more of these as I love the sculptural quality. Its also got the added bonus of not being breakable so its safe with the kids..who will probably wear it as a hat knowing them!!

the graphic fabric is terrific and I love the shape of the bowl - fantastic! was it difficult?

Well when you make the first of anything its always difficult..its mostly trying to work out the proper stitch on your machine and thread to use etc but I love the end result and thanks for your comments.

yay! great job, this one is gorge - I'm so glad you like making these - that book has been very popular, we use the fabric bowls the author made for us to hand out candy and samples at trade shows, they're artistic and handy too!
