Painting the blues away

I seem to be getting the blues a lot more these days..think it must be my hormones playing up again..the things us women have to put up with. Anyhow I decided to do a lot of mad painting today on fabric. One of my favourite books is Collage Unleashed by Traci Bautista and I always go to this book when I am stuck as it encourages you to just be mad and paint. So if you are 40 something and are feeling low just go and splash some paint!!

Great advice! I love your fabric pieces. I was in the same mood today. Didn't really want to make a finished piece, just wanted to splash some paint around.

I you are interested, there is a Yahoo group for Collage Unleashed. Do you know about it? She is also teaching online classes from people who can't meet up with her at one of her venues.

insanely gorgeous!! sorry about the blues, but I agree, painting can definitely chase them away. I'm gonna go check out that book now.

Another 40 something here who uses art as therapy :) I tend to dig out my pens and just doodle away the blues. Dont care what it looks like as long as Im doodling. I too am a fan of Traci Baustita's work and love that book!
