Till the oceans cease to flow....

We are having a mini heatwave here in Liverpool and we are making the most of it with the paddling pool out for the kids etc as it usually rains all the time. So today I thought I would do a summery beach card playing with some inks and paint. The background is some of my painted papers with dye sprayed over seahorse diecuts. I have stamped the edges with white paint and added some lovely Scrollswork stamped images. Hope the weather is beautiful where you are..

Lovely sea & sand type collage. Looks 'cool' but it's hot !

Paddling pool out here too, but daughter kicked me out when I tried to get in to cool down ("only boys and girls, mummy!"). This piece is wonderful. I really love it!

Perfect - I love the spalashed effect round the sea horse, very effective. Sunny here in Kent too, though probably snow by the weekend (!!).

I wish I could send you our beach..

It supposed to rain here regularly north of Houston..but it isn't right now and the pond is evaporating! Poor fish!

I love this picture!!! It makes me think of those antique photos of the bathing ladies! And by the way, I love your blog look with the newspaper..It's perfect for what you do!

PS. Thanks for visiting! I know what you mean about leaving things out. I have friends whose homes are like magazine photos...but I don't think they or their kids ever actually DO anything! How boring!

We are swimming three times a week at our local public pool. Having teens makes it a lot easier. We are having a blast! (And it's shaded too.

Great card, Lorraine. We have had rain all week so I envy your sunshine and warm weather. I know when it arrives here we will wish for cooler temps.

At least your card reminds me of summer. Thanks for uploading it.
