Boller...

Here is a photo of me with some boller that I made in Norway..its delicious and tastes a bit like our hot cross buns but it has cardamom and cinnamon in it. Here is a link I have found to make this delicious Norsk cake bread and another link about chocolate boller. I made some more this morning with my youngest son and he loved adding chocolate to his. Boller is found everywhere in Norway and they even sell them at petrol stations.

have to comment on this :)
Boller is also danish- and our -boller-looks exatly the same as your norwegian ones--only they don`t have those tastes of cardamon and cinnamon-they are only plain -boller----how wonderfull you visited Norway, it is endeed a beautifull country, and a georgeus nature.( I`m danish living not far away from Norway)

Thats right Lorraine. We eat a lot of boller and many times we also give it to the children when we go shopping. When we make coffe we often eat boller also.
Nice picture and have good day :))

Boller is a typical Norwegian ( and danish actually) snack.
