creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes...

Thought I would share another painting that I have done this week...but this one is not perfect! Unfortunately I dropped an ink pad on the face and no matter how hard I tried to blend it in the paper started to bubble up so have just left it!! but when I think about it my face and hands are always covered with inks and paint as I dont think anyone can be clean if they like doing art!! Have a good weekend everyone..its rainy bad weather here but I am going to get everyone wrapped up in coats and brave it!!

my good friend sarah fishburn once told me that mistakes are opportunities for embellishment! I live by that and the thought that if it was perfect, it would be machine made and imperfection is what makes fine art fine, you piece is just wonderful!

I too cannot see the ink mark! We are all obviously blind to your mistakes :o)

You have been busy this week art wise. The quote you have written is so very true, one has to be self forgiving, but remembering that at the time is a different matter!

Have a great weekend despite the Autumn weather.

Very nice painting, I can't even tell that you dropped something on it.
