tea on my mind

inside of tin and card holds a fruit tea bag

I am really into drinking different teas at the moment..earl grey, moroccan mint tea, camomile etc. Decided to have a go at making a tea card and alter a little cigar tin. I wanted to stamp with brown ink on brown card for a subtle effect..click on the photo to see more detail. All the stamps I have used are from Scrollswork. I have added some of my little crochet flowers that I love making at the moment. So go and put the kettle on and join me drinking a nice cup of tea!

Beautiful designs! I love your crochet flowers. I'm not that much a fan of floral embellishements usually but these are really different and so clever. Penny

Beautiful Lorraine. The effects you have created look like leather and the stamps are wonderful. I drink a lot of green and white tea and have just tried some green tea with pear which was delish! x

Oh Lorraine! I love these! I do wish you would link them up to my Tuesday Tea Chat newsletter today. The linky tool is near the top of the post. The browns are so rich and luscious! Frankly, tea is ALWAYS on my mind. Guess I've been needing a lot of breaks lately. Ha!

Your altered art is just gorgeous! :o)
