bonjour amour mirror

I have been trying to use some of my cupboard full of alterable stash so decided to alter this mirror this morning. I have used old papers, collage images, pastels and paint from tester pots..its all sealed with pva glue. I have been painting the rooms with tester pots trying to decide what colour the room is going to be..I painted a small portion of one wall last night but it looked grey when it dried so glad I hadnt bought a big pot of paint! My sons were really funny in the paint shop this morning as they kept bringing me huge pots of bright red and green paint as I am trying to look at restful colours!!! I havent done any challenges for awhile and over at Theme Thursday its Paris..so be sure to look at all the other entries too..

Red and green hmm? Not really your color of choice for a wall or 2 is it?!

So I'm not the only one with a cupboard of things to alter, including an ikea mirror, lol. Love what you've done with yours :)

Hi Lorraine! Great to see you again! This altered mirror came out so nice! I have a whole stash of stuff laying around the house that I've been meaning to alter forever. You know, nothing is trash to collagists, right? So I certainly can't bear to part with any of it, even though I don't need 20 of everything. HA! Anyway, it's so nice to see your work. It's so gorgeous (I am going gaga over all those beautiful items on top of your blog page!) and it totally inspires me to get cracking on altering some of my stash!
