Here comes the rain again..

It has been non stop rain today but at least its good for the plants outside. I tidied up all my plants in my greenhouse as I have spotted lots of green tomatoes growing and my dad told me to be sure to trim all the foilage so the sun!! can get to the tomatoes. I did this quick journal page while watching the rain. I tend to spray inks and paints on all the journal pages in one go and then its easy to add pastels, paints and collage images on top as I have done here.

Enjoy your rain! the plants love it and I'll bet your tomatoes will love the sun when it returns.
I followed your videos for painting in my journal and love the effects. Thanks so much for your generous sharing.

So wonderful, a little bit mystical. I love design, background, colors and how you combined the stamps and the writing.
A fantastic unique piece!

Wonderful yummy colors! Hope the rain stops--we have sun for the next 2 days and then more rain just in time for the weekend :)

I love this collage! And, sadly, I can identify. Not rain but very humid cloudage every day for two weeks. Yesterday was the first all sunny day. Some summer we are having!

Thanks for the lovely comments on my blog Lorraine. A handfasting is a pagan wedding, traditionaly it would last for a year and a day then the couple would decide if they wanted to continue together or seperate! The couples hands are bound with pretty cords during the ceremony to signify their unity and the whole thing normally takes place outside in forests or beaches. In the UK a handfasting is not yet legal so a trip to the registary office is needed to be 'offically' married, but it is a beautiful ceremony held in nature and much less informal than a normal wedding! Hope that explains it a little bit! x
