Cold Winter

Did a quick painting today..wanted to do a winter scene. I started painting this with a blue sky but then noticed the very dark grey sky outside so painted that instead. The painting reminds me of our local park except I have added a fence for a sense of perspective. We have had the strong winds and now its icy cold rain with snow on the way soon I think....Hope your nice and warm wherever you are. Think I will have to paint a beach scene next to warm up..ha ha!

That's how it felt walking this morning, like winter really had arrived. xox Corrine

Beautiful painting, despite being stark, cold and grey. Love yesterday's, too. Same type of weather here, I'm afraid - hailstones, too - not sure we'll get much snow, though - more likely to be sleet and rain! Stay warm x

Very lovely! I especially like your treatment of the ground. I can practically feel it underfoot.
A lovely rendering.
The rest of your blog looks peachy!
Hope I'm able to find enough time to explore it more fully soon!
You 'll soon have my Follow!
