journal pages, a new kettle and starting to crochet again...

Catching up on journal pages ...inspiration strikes at funny times with me..last night at 10pm it was one of those..thats it I know what I am going to do!

lots of layers for Vigdis in Norway who we refer to as "the Queen" of our European Circle Journal group
Another page for Vigdis with the marvellous words "my idea of housework is to sweep the room at a glance"
These paler pages are for my friend Pat who is taking part in a journal swap for collabor art group.  Lots of layers, pale paint and the words "Well behaved women seldom make history"
"Live each day like you mean it"..another page for Pat with lots of inks, paints and texture
Seem to be wearing lots of purple at the moment as its my fav colour so of course I had to have this kettle as our old one broke!
Started to crochet another blanket now its getting colder..never done a striped blanket before but have been inspired by a great blog called according to matt..he makes some lovely colourful blankets

Until next time..wear purple!

I like all the layers you have on your journal pages. They look great...but I'm in love with your new kettle! Purple is my favorite color, too.

Love your colorful journal pages! Please tell me about the blanket you are crocheting. I want to start a colorful one and haven't crocheted in a long time, so not sure what size hook or yarn to buy--what are you using?

You know me Lorraine ,head to toe in purple today, with a little crochet corsage as a finishing touch, by the way the pages for the Queen are great.

Beautiful journal, and crocheted blanket. I am still hooked on crochet too and have started my first afghan. Best to you...my friend.
