Summer in the rain

Today its been a proper miserable rainy day so wanted to paint something summery..its not finished yet as I want to age it slightly with crackle varnish

Before I painted it I woodburnt the design onto some old wood

Here it is on my easel with Peace in the Garden which is for sale in my Etsy.

Happy Paint Party Friday everyone be sure to check out the other art on this great challenge site and have a nice weekend with warm weather!

lovely paitings and hope some fine weather is headed your way... it can be hard to be inspired when it is miserable weather, but it seems like you can be creative no matter what the weather is doing...xx
