Happy robin

Everyday I see this robin that comes to the bird feeder I have put on the conservatory....makes me happy when I see it so did a quick painting for Happy Paint Party Friday
The painting is made up of many layers of paint scratched into for lots of deep texture.
Thanks for all your suggestions for printers....have ordered some cards to be professionally printed of my paintings for a start so be sure to check my Etsy store soon.

A robin at the feeder is a sure sign of Spring where I am from. Delightful sketch! Happy PPF

We have robins that come in spring, but I haven't seen one yet this year.
Printers? I've had several and they all seem okay. The main thing I do is take the photo to a photo editing program to get it looking just perfect before printing it out. Then it's also the kind of paper you print out on to that will make a difference. I experiment a lot. Right now I have a Canon MX 320 printer.

This is lovely. Is it encaustic? I just ask because it has the lovely texture that Marji from Sun breaks in the forecast blog uses in her work.

As for printers - I tend to print my own stuff onto blank cardstock for greetings cards and blank watercolour postcards/paper for art work. If you register with Fine Art America they print it for you when you sell something so you don't have to worry about it - I think there are a few like that around. I haven't really sold that many prints of my work online - more at craft/art fairs so hopefully someone else will be able to point you in the right direction if you want a printer to pre-print your work for selling.

Your red robin is beautiful. I love it when these beautiful creatures come around. As far as printers, not sure about that. I have an Epson Stylus Photo RX500, but it's getting along in age. Thanks and Happy PPF!

Love your little robin. My bird feeder bit the dust in a bad storm we had last summer and I miss watching the birds every morning. They still come to my balcony but they don't hang around very long. I was lucky enough to see a few cardinals last year.

Beautiful bird, Lorraine. We had robins throughout the winter. I have no idea what that means because the winter was really cold.

what a cute & happy Robin! Love its many textured qualities - so dynamic. If I were to get a printer now I'd prob. go with HP since they are always (I mean, ALWAYS) running crazy promotions, both for cartridges & printers. Then again, I have no idea as to the quality re photo or specialized
