Seeking calm in stormy seas

Little wood panel painted with bright colours as we have had lovely weather this week..this painting deals with the issues of having focus, peace and a belief in a higher power represented by the birds feathers. ( Update on my dad..he has just rang to say he is coming out of hospital as he had to be admitted again in a lot of pain..so thanks for all your positive messages in last weeks post).

Had a go at hexagonal paper piecing again for the craftsy block of the month..quite like doing these.
