mail art cards

Have recently been invited to join a new art collaborative blog based in the UK so have made some mail art cards to post. The backgrounds for these started off as an acrylic painting but decided to cut the canvas up and make cards instead..have added some collagey images, sewing and coated it all with a thin layer of wax

Tidied up my craft area yet again and found some watercolours that had dried up so used them to do this quick beach painting yesterday..love painting quick landscapes as I find looking at them so restful. There is no sun today though as its raining heavily and my youngest son has gone out to join a new football club so hope its inside for him..he looked so cute dressed all in red for Liverpool of course:)
