My bargain 1970s vintage pifco travel iron!

I got this great 1970s vintage iron off ebay for the bargain price of £3.75!! I wanted to tell you about it as its great for encaustic work. If you are looking for one make sure its not a steam iron as you dont want the bottom plate to have holes in it. Worth looking for on ebay or in a fleamarket though for that price. It came in the original 1970s box and I love using old vintage things. It works great for encaustic as I had a go earlier and it will be great when I want to add a thin layer of wax over my art. Its a really good size as it fits into my craft cupboard..its about the size of your palm. So worth looking out for on your travels!!
