Awfully Big Art Adventure "tin" & TGIF "vintage"

Combined two challenges today. I store my embroidery threads in an old quality street tin and my little 3yr old is always opening it in search of sweeties! so it was time to alter that tin!! I stamped a stampington image on to some fabric using my new versacraft black inkpad. This has got to be the best inkpad for fabric!! I then added some images from a sewing ATC pad, overstamped papers, buttons and more stamping with a tape measure and swirly stamp around the edges. I added the word "threads" to the top right

Your tin is perfectly charming Lorraine! What a treasure to pass along the ages. I like nothing more than an old button tin with this and thats tucked inside...I can only imagine my delight to find a tin like yours :O)

It definitely doesn't look like a sweet tin now - its very 'arty'!!
Well done Lorraine and thanks for joining in with us.

I like this! This looks like a lot of work went into it. So much to explore. Isn't it funny how we start something like this and don't realize how much it is going to encompass? I love that.
