Liverpool Travel Around the World Swap

Katrin over in Germany has started the Travel Around the World Swap again. Most of the participants live in Germany so I often get nice German Stamps, old papers etc which I love to use in collages. I have been playing around with newspaper images and wax today and really like the aged ghostly effect it brings when everything is layered over each other. Here is my card based on olde Liverpool when they had the trams and of course I had to include a picture of the Liver Birds..with the words "Indulge your curiosity Liverpool". I have also been playing around with inks and Tim Holtz masks so that is the pattern on the edge..

Here is a card I recieved off Sabine who lives in Bremen in Germany..what a great building and nice card. Thanks Sabine (I really like that name as it sounds very gothic). So my olde Liverpool card will be flying to Marion in Germany tomorrow so hope she likes it.

Love the work you've done with the newspaper and wax - great look with the semi-transparent layering!
