My little Artchix shrine treat

I decided to treat myself to an ATC Artchix tin shrine as I have always wanted one of these. It came beautifully wrapped all the way from Canada complete with a chocolate mint inside and extra collage goodies. I have used the collage sheets to make the 3 ATCs you can see. I have painted the shrine with some turquoise, blue and brown paint and then sanded it down. The little face in the bottle top was off the packaging and I have added some of my favourite beads at the bottom. I really like this little shrine as I can keep putting in different ATCs in it...yes sometimes it nice to treat yourself..have you treated yourself recently?

I love your shrines!! They are wonderful. Did you have to put anything on the metal to make the paint stick to it?

Those are really cool looking. I love the picture in the bottle cap, and I love how you can change out the ATCs.

I LOVE these Artchix shrines, but have never allowed myself to indulge......but now I see what you've done to yours I'm having a re-think! I treated myself to a beautiful green resin necklace recently, all encrusted with gorgeous stuff. Spent more on it than I usually would ever consider (£25 so not Rockafella standards!) and kept it quiet, guiltily. Husband found the cheque stub (uh oh!). He didn't 'quite' understand why I HAD to have it and still doesn't see why I have to stroke it on a daily basis, but he accepts I rarely indulge in 'girl' stuff. It meant beans on toast for tea for a few days though!

Wow! I love shrines and I love turquoise. Heaven! I just treated myself to two Michelle Ward (Green Pepper Press) stamp plates from the USA, plus a discontinued Sherrill Kahn doll stamp set. I treat myself rather a lot LOL
