Vintage Spring postcard

I am taking part in a postcard swap over at UK Stampers and this months challenge is Spring. I have used a lovely little girl and word stamp both from Scrollswork along with various collage bits and pieces. I have covered it all in a fine layer of wax so that nothing falls off when it goes through the post "naked"!! The little words on the roses read "spring has arrived". The challenge over at Theme Thursday is vintage so be sure to check out the other entries...

Visited my parents today and my dad's garden is looking stunning.

Such a gorgeous postcard, Lorraine. And I am so jealous of your dad's garden. However, to achieve that beautiful look took lots of work. Both your postcard and the garden!

Lorraine..the garden is beautiful! He must be getting plenty of rain. It's dry as bones here. :o)We did get a little rain once and it helped tremendously but it makes it hard on the flowers.

Very interesting that you layer wax on the card. Does it get very hard? What kind of wax is it? The card is very pretty--I love when you do vintage stuff. :o) The little girl photo is really cute!

I'm so sorry it took so long to get back. Son is graduating on Saturday and I'm swamped!

Had to travel all over Houston trying to get medical records so he can get into Tx. Army Nat. Guard. We are praying for a miracle.
