I am part of the Creative Troupe at C&T publishing..an American publishing company. I was recently sent a new product called mul.tex which I had great fun playing around with as its very versatile. Its sort of a plastic coated fibre that can be sewn, painted, burnt, distressed and painted with alcohol inks etc. I made an ATC hanger out of it using lots of different techniques on each ATC. For the edges I used a soldering iron to fuse it on to itself to form a ridged edge. For more ideas on how to use this fab new product check out the C&T flickr gallery here.

LOrraine, this new material is really interesting. I like the tarnished look.

Thanks for creating such a marvelous piece for us - I just love how you push a surface to its limits and you get such amazing results! mul•tex (a laminated mulberry fiber sheet) is so much fun and will be available in small and large rolls in April 2012. Looks really interesting to work with Lorraine. I went to the C&T site and it comes on a roll, laminated mulberry paper, who knew. What will they come out with next. I like the rustic things you did with it very much, and the way you hung them, very cool. xox Corrine Happy Christmas jingle jingle.
