Hope you all had a peaceful Christmas and New Year celebrations and a Happy New Year to you all.
For some reason blogger is acting up this morning and its been difficult trying to upload photos in order! As you can see from above I have started some quick practice sketches of a morning. I have been doing a little bit of scrapbooking...I made the 2013 photo holder from an old binder turned inside out..but have still to finish adding photos to the little 2012 album I made from an old book. I have been making irish soda bread lately so here is a photo of yesterdays lunch which I ate outside as its suddenly turned very spring like.
Well here are my arty intentions for this year:
I have joined a ning group One Little House and am taking part in a free 100 painting course so hoping to have a go at that soon when all my sons go back to school.
I also plan to do a proper quilt this year so have signed up for the Craftsy block of the month free course.
I am going to try and do more cards and use my stamps more..splitcoast stampers have good challenges to do as unfortunately most of the challenges have disappeared now..
Carry on with my crochet as I love making granny squares..
Well here is to a creative new year and would love to know what your arty intentions are this year;)

Hi Lorraine! Thanks for coming to visit me on my blog- sorry that it's neglected right now. I'm in a bit of a slump and slowly climbing out. I love your sketches!! My arty intentions this year are to finish revamping my craft room and to just break out of my slump and start putting paint to paper...or anything creative really :) I would really love to learn more about shading and drawing faces this year too. Best wishes on your creative endeavors!!

I'm having problems with blogger too. I can't upload any pics at all. Oh well, soon I hope. Sounds like you have lots of great plans for the new year. Full of art and creativity. Happy new year to you.
